Remicade
What is Remicade:
Remicade is an advanced biologic agent that has been shown to have substantial benefits in patients with a number of inflammatory disorders involving the immune system.
Remicade is given by intravenous(IV) line.
Remicade targets specific proteins in the body’s immune system to help control the development of inflammation,significantly reducing painful symptoms in diseases such as the following:
Rheumatoid Arthritis
Plaque Psoriasis
Psoriatic Arthritis
Crohn’s disease
Ulcerative Colitis
Ankylosing spondylitis
Loveland Location:
The infusion clinic is located at our Loveland clinic location. Our outpatient infusion center offers convenience for our patients that require Remicade infusions.
Cheyenne Location:
Our Cheyenne location also has appointments available for Remicade infusions: please call (970) 669-5432 for available times.
Appointment Hours:
Our infusion clinic hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Infusions typically take 2-3 hrs. You will be monitored by an RN throughout the infusion.
Infusion Nurse:
Trish Matteson RN has been a nurse for over 30 years. She has many years of nursing experience and over 10 years infusing Remicade. Her patients love her and feel confident in her abilities.
